Grading will be based on 2 non-cumulative midterm examinations and a non-cumulative final. Each of these is worth 1/3 of the final grade. The nature of these exams varies with the instructor but usually shall consist of multiple choice, short-answer, fill-in-the-blank, true-false and identification questions.
Grading will be based on 5 quizzes and a cumulative final. The quizzes are each worth 10% of the course grade (50% total) and the final is worth 50%. The quizzes will test lab concepts using a variety of question formats; the final exam will be practical in nature.
