I’m a behavioral and evolutionary ecologist. During my MSc I worked on sexual cannibalism and mating opportunities in spiders. During my PhD I worked on factors that affect brood size in polyembryonic parasitoid wasps. Currently I’m studying factors that limit the reproductive success of parasitoid wasps. One project deals with limiting factors in agricultural vs. natural fields and another project deals with the effect of the endosymbiont Wolbachia on the reproductive success of the parasitoids. I combine mathematical modeling, field work and manipulative experiment to address my research questions.
