Welcome! I am a Ph.D. student in the Ward Lab, and I work primarily in myrmecological systematics. In plain English, that means I study the classification and evolution of ants. On this site you will find online versions of some of my recent ant projects and links to other ant-related sites and sites of personal interest. Please note that my image gallery has moved off-site to www.myrmecos.net.

Currently I am revising the Neotropical ant genus Linepithema, a group best known for the pestiferous Argentine ant L. humile.  In addition to cleaning up the species-level taxonomy of this genus, I am also attempting to reconstruct the evolutionary history of Linepithema using molecular, morphological, behavioral, and geographic data.

Don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions or comments regarding the content of this site.
