Who should apply? The program is directed at individuals interested in practical careers as agricultural consultants, Cooperative Extension Farm Advisors, pest control advisers and operators, industry sales and market development staff, farm managers, horticulturists, and pest management specialists or applied researchers with universities or governmental agencies. Many graduates go on to pursue Ph.D.'s in pest management disciplines.
Faculty and students participating in the IPM Graduate Group are members of various departments and have a wide range of interests and experiences. Students should be motivated to take advantage of the personalized interaction with professors and university specialists offered through this program.
