RENO--The UC Davis Department of Entomology was well represented by a contingent of faculty, emeriti faculty, graduate students and staff at the Entomological Society of America's 59th annual meeting, held Nov. 13-16 in the
Reno/Sparks Convention Center. More than 2,700 people from 49 different countries attended. .A pictorial view.

Reisen is a research entomologist with the Center for Vectorborne Diseases and a professor in the Department of Pathology, Microbiology and Immunology, School of Veterinary Medicine. Closely linked with the UC Davis Department of Entomology, he is a faculty entomology affiliate and an entomology graduate student advisor. Gillespie (Neal Williams lab) presented a talk during the ESA meeting on "Honey Bee (Apis mellifera) Pollination Affects Onion Seed Set in California's Central Valley."
