The grand opening celebration of the Maggot Art show at the Capital Athletic Gallery, 1515 8th St., Sacramento, took place Friday, Jan. 19, 2007. The crowd, ranging from forsenic entomologists to graduate students, viewed the some 45 pieces of art created by UC Davis doctoral student Rebecca O'Flaherty and her UC colleagues and friends, Brandi Schmitt and Charlotte Wacker. |
