Peter Cranston |
DAVIS--UC Davis entomology professor Peter Cranston was one of a select group of entomologists invited to write a daily blog for the Royal Entomological Society (UK) during its celebration of National Insect Week.
The society has been promoting insect awareness in the UK for many years but this is the first time for entomology blogs. Cranston, who edits the journal Systematic Entomology for the Royal Entomological Society, was recently awarded honorary membership in the society.
Another UC entomology professor, Tom MIller of Riverside, is also among the select group of 23 invited bloggers.
