Gary Felton, professor and head of the Department of Entomology at Pennsylvania State University, will deliver the Thomas and Nina Leigh Distinguished Alumni Seminar in Entomology to be held Wednesday, May 25 in Ballroom B of the new UC Davis Conference Center, across from the Mondavi Center. DAVIS--Nine speakers are lined up for the UC Davis Department of Entomology’s spring seminar series, set March 30 through May 25.
The seminars are held every Wednesday noon from 12:10 p.m. to 1 p.m. in 122 Briggs Hall.
Many of the presentations will be webcast (in a project coordinated by professor James R. Carey) and then archived.

March 30: Bernard "Bernie" Roitberg, professor, Centre for Pest Management, Department of Biosciences, Simon Fraser University, British Columbia. His topic: “The Irritable Insect.” Host: Jay Rosenheim. His talk will be webcast and then archived.
April 6: Bruce Hammock, Distinguished Professor of Entomology, UC Davis Department of Entomology and UC Davis Cancer Center. Topic: "Moths to Medicine:
